About the role
The University of British Columbia is seeking a Research Assistant to join the Digital Emergency Medicine team within the Department of Emergency Medicine. You will contribute to digital health projects that aim to improve health practice, education, and patient‑centered care through technology‑enabled innovations.
Key responsibilities
- Support a portfolio of digital health projects using quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Evaluate the efficacy of digital health interventions and contribute to program evaluation.
- Assist in the development of funding proposals and collaborative partnership initiatives.
- Participate in community‑engagement activities to promote health education.
- Document research findings and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Required profile
- Interest in digital health, emergency medicine, and health education.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary research team.
- Strong analytical skills for both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
