Rescue Technician – Long-Term Project

About the role

The Total Group of Companies is seeking 12‑16 qualified Rescue Technicians for a long‑term industrial rescue project in Saskatchewan. You will work under the direct supervision of the General Manager, providing standby rescue, fire prevention, instruction and medical response to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review site‑specific rescue plans.
• Support rescue operations, drills, equipment setup and inspections.
• Monitor work areas to maintain a safe site.
• Collaborate closely with the rescue team, site personnel and other contractors.
• Communicate clearly and contribute to a positive, team‑focused environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in Canada with a valid SIN.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and a clean or satisfactory driver abstract.

Required skills

• Confined Space Rescue certification.
• Confined Space Entry certification.
• Fall Protection certification.
• Standard First Aid with CPR/AED.
• WHMIS 2015 training.
• CSTS 2020 certification.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
