Remote Recruiting Specialist

About the role

Objective Recruiting is seeking a self‑driven Remote Recruiting Specialist to own end‑to‑end outbound sourcing and candidate assessment for both internal hires and Canadian client placements. You will work independently, leveraging fast feedback loops in a startup environment to deliver data‑driven hiring outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage passive candidates using headhunting, Boolean search, and networking techniques.
• Qualify candidates against screening criteria and capture qualified leads in the company system.
• Facilitate structured candidate assessments and provide transparent, data‑based hiring recommendations.
• Collaborate with co‑founders and account managers via Slack and Zoom to align on hiring strategy.
• Maintain accurate reporting and support the automation of administrative processes.

What we offer

• Independent contractor role with a monthly retainer of CAD 1,000–2,000.
• Performance‑based commissions ranging from CAD 250 to 1,000 per month.
