Remote Marketing Specialist (Contract, $45/hr)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Marketing Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. You will work with authentic workplace communications to uncover actionable marketing insights and help shape our AI‑driven workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze Slack messages, email threads, and internal documents to extract key marketing insights.
• Identify and document decisions, action items, dependencies, blockers, and outstanding questions relevant to marketing workflows.
• Develop realistic, multi‑step tasks that reflect genuine knowledge‑work scenarios in marketing, sales, or business operations.
• Synthesize fragmented and ambiguous information across multiple sources and timelines.
• Write clear prompts and evaluation rubrics for AI agents based on real workplace data.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold data security when handling authentic startup communications.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clarify complex ideas for varied audiences.
• Proven experience interpreting, synthesizing, and structuring messy business or marketing data from diverse sources.
• Ability to trace decisions and resolve ambiguities in distributed workplace communications.
• Experience creating process‑driven workflows and documenting multi‑step projects or campaigns.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating asynchronously with a remote, distributed team.
