Remote Electrical Project Coordinator – Shop Drawings & Documentation

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Project Coordinator to support our commercial and industrial projects across the Greater Toronto Area. Working remotely, you will ensure that shop drawings, purchase orders, permits, and all project records are accurate, up‑to‑date, and compliant with our safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of shop drawing submittals between Project Managers, vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors.
• Maintain project documentation, including purchase orders, permits, and close‑out files.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and review electrical and construction drawings for completeness.
• Track project milestones and update records to reflect current status.
• Identify gaps in standard operating procedures and apply sound judgment to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Experience reading and interpreting electrical and construction drawings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication for clear documentation.
