Relief Pharmacist

About the role

Join a leading Canadian retailer and provide essential pharmacy services across communities. As a Relief Pharmacist you will ensure patients receive accurate medication dispensing, timely service, and professional counseling while supporting the health‑and‑wellness philosophy of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense and control prescription and over‑the‑counter medications accurately and promptly.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs.
• Counsel patients on new and existing medications with a friendly, proactive approach.
• Promote health awareness through public‑relation activities such as health days and clinics.
• Address patient and physician inquiries, providing timely resolutions.
• Monitor and control pharmacy costs.
• Train new and existing pharmacy staff, including technicians, interns and students.
• Handle receipt, preparation and delivery of prescriptions and clinical services within scope of practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid Class A Pharmacist licence.
• Strong customer‑relation abilities and professional demeanor.
• Leadership and performance‑management experience.
• Proven capability to grow business through community‑based marketing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Solid personal computing proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software.
