Registered Nurse – Pharmacy Services

About the role

Join a locally owned Pharmaprix store to provide health, beauty and convenience services to the community. As a registered nurse, you will be the frontline professional delivering vaccination, chronic‑disease support and patient education.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' health status and administer indicated vaccines (influenza, COVID‑19, pneumococcus, herpes zoster, travel‑related).
• Offer clinical services for hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy.
• Collect blood samples and provide instruction on glucometers, blood pressure monitors and other self‑care devices.
• Welcome patients in a professional, caring manner and ensure a smooth pharmacy experience.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to develop and expand nursing service offerings.

Required profile

• Member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec.
• Hold a DCS or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Familiarity with the Québec immunization protocol (PIQ) and travel health considerations.

Required skills

• Blood sample collection.
• Vaccination administration.
• Use of glucometers and blood pressure monitoring devices.
• Knowledge of Quebec immunization protocol and travel health guidelines.
