Registered Nurse (PDH) – Regular Part-Time

About the role

North Wellington Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (PDH) for a regular part‑time position at Palmerston & District Hospital. The role provides comprehensive nursing care across all hospital areas, including the Emergency Department, in line with College of Nurses of Ontario standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient‑centered nursing care according to organizational policies and provincial standards.
• Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring, and defibrillation as needed.
• Work in multiple units, including emergency, and respond to acute clinical situations.
• Document care accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in departmental education and continuous‑learning activities.

Required profile

• Current Ontario RN Certificate of Competence.
• BScN, RNAO/CNA membership, and Maternal‑Child course are assets.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• NRP certification and relevant clinical experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Willingness to work all shifts and undergo background and health checks.
