About the role
The Diagnostic Imaging Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient education, preparation, and nursing care across multiple imaging modalities, including interventional radiology and recovery areas. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the RN ensures patient safety and well‑being before, during, and after procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Educate and prepare patients for a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other team members to assess and respond to patient conditions.
- Rotate through interventional radiology, DI recovery, and other imaging areas as required.
- Share shift, weekend, and on‑call duties equally with the team.
- Provide comprehensive nursing services, advocating for patients and families while adhering to Alberta Health Services policies.
Required profile
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS‑HCP) certification.

What we offer
- Hourly wage ranging from $44.56 to $60.98 (CAD) for fully licensed RNs.
- Provisional permit holders paid $40.76 to $55.79 per hour.
- Full‑time (1.0 FTE) position with a rotating shift pattern including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on‑call.
- Benefits package in accordance with Alberta Health Services policies.
