Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental examinations and assist during procedures.
• Set up, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Take and develop intra‑oral X‑rays.
• Record dental procedures and maintain accurate patient charts.
• Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.

Required profile

• Team player with dependable work ethic.
• Excellent oral communication and reliability.
• Registration with provincial/territorial dental authorities.
• Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.

Required skills

• Dental instrument preparation and sterilization.
