Regional HR Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Regional HR Coordinator to support our multi‑site operations across British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. The role provides frontline HR assistance, manages the full employee lifecycle and ensures compliance with leave, training and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries across all locations.
• Administer and track all types of employee leave, attendance trends and job abandonment cases.
• Coordinate return‑to‑work processes and verify work‑permit authorizations.
• Ensure field staff complete required in‑service training and certifications, and maintain accurate training records.
• Support recruitment and onboarding activities, including preparation of new‑hire documentation and orientation sessions.
• Maintain employee data in PeopleSoft and ensure all records comply with company policies and legal standards.
• Participate in Health & Safety committees, conduct workplace‑violence risk assessments and follow up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with employees and managers.
• Experience managing the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

Required skills

• PeopleSoft (HRIS) proficiency
