Recruitment Associate – Physician Application Management (12‑month contract)

About the role

The Health Employers Association of British Columbia (HEABC) is seeking a Recruitment Associate to support the Physician Application Management Team for a 12‑month term. You will work within the PRA‑BC program, providing recruitment and advisory services to internationally trained physicians and health employers across British Columbia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate, up‑to‑date information and guidance to physicians interested in working in BC.
• Assist candidates and health employers with provincial and federal processes, including immigration matters.
• Communicate eligibility, screening, referral, interview and selection requirements.
• Support the coordination of recruitment activities across multiple program components.
• Collaborate with program managers, health authorities and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation and interest in impacting BC communities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Residency within commuting distance of the Vancouver office.
• Willingness to complete a mandatory three‑month onsite training period.
