About the role
We are seeking a Recreational Therapist to join our team in Powell River, delivering therapeutic programs to clients in chronic or long‑term care settings. The role involves collaborating with health professionals to promote health, prevent injury and support recovery.
Key responsibilities
- Consult with multidisciplinary health care professionals to evaluate and adjust treatment plans.
- Record observations and document client progress.
- Provide education on health promotion, injury prevention, management and treatment.
- Initiate, design and implement specialised recreational therapy programs tailored to client needs.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy or related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in chronic or long‑term care environments.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.

- Salary $43.24–$54.01 CAD per hour.
