React Front End Developer

About the role

Highspring is seeking a skilled React Front End Developer to join one of its delivery squads. You will work on large‑scale digital modernization projects, helping clients in banking, insurance and technology deliver high‑quality web applications on aggressive timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance responsive user interfaces using React (hooks) and modern front‑end patterns.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA and engineering teammates in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Integrate and consume REST and GraphQL APIs to deliver performant features.
• Maintain code quality through clean coding practices, peer reviews and refactoring.
• Support state‑management solutions such as Redux or Context API following team standards.
• Improve developer experience by creating reusable components, tooling and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a delivery‑focused mindset.
• Clear communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, Agile teams.

• JavaScript (ES6+)
• React.js with hooks and component architecture
• State management (Redux, Context API)
• API integration (REST, GraphQL)
• Front‑end tooling (Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn)
• Version control with Git
• Responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility
