Quality Technologist

About the role

The Quality Technologist will join Caldic’s warehouse and laboratory team to ensure that all incoming raw materials and finished products meet strict quality standards before release. Reporting to the Senior Quality Specialist, you will play a key part in safeguarding product integrity for manufacturing and distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain retained samples and conduct quality testing on raw materials such as oils, vitamins, minerals, and other ingredients.
• Review incoming paperwork, specifications, and certificates of analysis (COAs) to verify compliance.
• Use the ERP system to record test results, update product release status, and generate COAs for both incoming and manufactured items.
• Investigate non‑conformances, coordinate with procurement, replenishment, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Support warehouse operations by troubleshooting quality problems, inspecting trailers, and handling returned material authorizations (RMA).
• Manage supplier‑related non‑conformance communication, including returns, credits, and shelf‑life extensions.

Required profile

• Experience in a laboratory or quality control environment, preferably within food, supplement, or chemical manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow sampling and testing procedures accurately.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for data entry and product release tracking.
