Quality Assurance Developer – Junior QA Role

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Quality Assurance Developer to join Corinex’s agile, cross‑functional team. The role involves developing automated testing systems, supporting lab infrastructure, and continuously improving testing processes for our BPL smart‑grid solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with an agile team to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Develop and implement test scenarios, plans and methodologies to achieve high coverage.
• Gather requirements, prepare test environments and execute tests.
• Participate in feature testing, regression testing, test development and bug triage.
• Document and analyse test results, work with developers to recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain the automated testing system and test repository.
• Set up and maintain laboratory equipment and infrastructure.
• Investigate and debug issues, providing detailed defect resolution information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Linux or Unix‑based operating systems.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and SNMP.
• Experience with system and application security concepts including TLS, PKI and encryption.
• Ability to script in Shell and/or Python.
