QA Assistant – Aviation Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Quality Assurance Assistant to support our Quality Management System, regulatory compliance, document control, and employee training programs. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will provide both administrative and technical assistance to ensure our Transport Canada‑approved maintenance organization meets all quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with quality records, work package reviews, and document filing.
• Support internal audits, spot checks, and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Maintain training records and track employee certifications and expirations.
• Help track tooling calibration records and maintain related documentation.
• Support vendor approval processes and update quality documentation.
• Coordinate training activities and ensure compliance records are up to date.
• Assist with regulatory reporting and overall quality system administration.
• Maintain publication access and controlled documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Quality Assurance within the aviation sector.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping accurate records.
• Aviation industry experience is considered an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
