Python Developer – Montreal

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions in Montreal. The successful candidate will have strong Python programming expertise, a solid grasp of software development principles, and experience delivering scalable, production-grade applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust Python applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance systems.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.
• Implement unit tests and uphold code quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience in Python development.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
