Purchasing & Inventory Management Coordinator

About the role

The Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator supports the smooth flow of materials and supplies between the warehouse and production areas. This role ensures that orders are processed efficiently, shipments are tracked, and inventory levels are maintained to meet production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general office duties and compile worksheets and order specifications.
• Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units, managing traffic flow of supplies.
• Consult with the production supervisor to schedule runs in a cost‑ and time‑efficient manner.
• Monitor production progress and follow up on work‑order issues.
• Requisition, order, and track materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Process and transmit information to vehicle operators and crews using dispatch equipment.
• Organize and maintain inventory records.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience.
• Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and strong organization.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
