Public Company Audit Manager

About the role

Davidson & Company is seeking an Audit Manager to lead high‑profile public company audit engagements, build strong client relationships and mentor junior staff. This permanent, full‑time position is based in downtown Vancouver.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end audit engagements across a diverse portfolio of industries, from planning through final deliverables.
• Develop and maintain client relationships by delivering clear communication, practical solutions and top‑tier service.
• Collaborate with Engagement Partners to manage budgets, timelines and deliverables.
• Translate complex accounting concepts into client‑friendly insights.
• Coach and inspire junior and senior team members, fostering a positive and productive environment.

Required profile

• CPA designation (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of public practice audit experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, CAS, US GAAP, GAAS and PCAOB standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stay organized and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with clients and colleagues.

• Experience with AI‑driven audit tools.
