Project Manager – Payments Product

About the role

Interac is seeking a Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of technical and business initiatives within its Payments product portfolio. Reporting to the Leader, Card Payments, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects of varying size and complexity, following Interac’s standard methodology.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.
• Communicate progress and issues to project sponsors, senior management, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, retrospectives, and change‑control processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve inter‑team dependencies.
• Lead project teams, providing administrative oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing technical and business projects, preferably in financial services, IT, or product development.
• Proven ability to handle complex, cross‑functional initiatives and make timely decisions.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results.
