Project Manager – HR, Payroll & Workforce Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of Human Resources, Payroll and Workforce Management initiatives. The role will provide structured project leadership, governance oversight and cross‑functional coordination to ensure successful delivery across multiple workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple project workstreams across HR, Payroll, Workforce Management and related business functions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Manage project governance activities, including status reporting, steering committee updates and stakeholder communications.
• Maintain RAID logs and proactively identify, assess and escalate project risks.
• Oversee resource planning and allocation to meet agreed timelines.
• Monitor progress, track key performance indicators and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors and project resources.
• Ensure documentation complies with PMO standards and support change management, testing, deployment and transition activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing enterprise business or technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, PMO frameworks and reporting methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, resources, budgets, risks and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience delivering projects involving HR technology, payroll systems or workforce management platforms.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and executive reporting skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
