About the role
The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (Elections Ontario) is seeking a Project Manager to lead enterprise‑planning initiatives that support provincial elections. This temporary assignment runs until March 31 2027 and is based on‑site in North York.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project charters, schedules, and inter‑dependency plans.
- Coordinate resources, gather requirements, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Participate in RFP processes, define specifications, and manage vendor deliverables.
- Lead project team meetings, assign tasks, and monitor progress against milestones.
- Identify risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and report status to stakeholders.
- Maintain change control procedures and ensure compliance with technical and security standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of proven project‑management experience.
- Experience managing development projects, preferably web‑based or enterprise‑wide systems.
- Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
Required skills
- Microsoft Project Online / Project Professional
- Advanced spreadsheet proficiency
