Project Manager, Engineering

About the role

Airbus is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to join the A220 commercial aircraft program team in Mirabel, near Montreal. You will be part of the Project Management and Product Development group responsible for planning and controlling aircraft configuration changes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering project plans for configuration change initiatives.
• Coordinate and monitor project execution across multiple internal and external engineering functions.
• Interface with suppliers to obtain delivery schedules and detailed planning information.
• Ensure proper configuration control and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support cross‑functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management and product development.
• Background working in an aerospace engineering environment.
• Ability to work autonomously while fostering collaborative teamwork.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and external suppliers.
