Project Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Clearwaygroup is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex construction projects across the Lower Mainland. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, you will be accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications to define project scope and objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Procure materials and subcontractors, negotiate terms, and monitor cost variances.
• Coordinate internal teams and third‑party vendors to ensure flawless execution and resource allocation.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, lead site meetings, and provide regular progress reports.
• Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Civil Engineering preferred) or Construction Management degree.
• 5–10 years of construction experience, including project planning, cost control, and site supervision.
• Valid British Columbia driver’s licence and eligibility to work in Canada.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and proven problem‑solving ability.

Required skills

• Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• Basic knowledge of HCSS Heavy Bid estimating software.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, union agreements, and occupational health & safety regulations.
• Financial and risk management expertise.
