Project Manager – Construction

About the role

EllisDon is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from pre‑construction through final delivery. You will work closely with the superintendent, owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall construction process, including design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Prepare tender documents and subcontractor contracts.
• Generate accurate, regular invoices for owners and ensure timely payment to subcontractors.
• Engage professionally with owners and architects, communicating project concerns and company interests.
• Control, interpret, and forecast cost reports to maintain alignment with estimates and positive cash flow.
• Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to track progress and support team development.
• Submit detailed project reports to the sector manager and communicate risks and status to senior leadership.

Required profile

• A degree related to construction or a comparable technical background.
• At least five years of experience in the construction industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
