Project Finance Controller – GTA

About the role

Kiewit is seeking a Project Finance Controller to support large‑scale construction and engineering projects across the Greater Toronto Area. The role acts as a financial CFO‑type partner for projects ranging from $1 million to $4 billion, providing analysis and insight to operations managers and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and communicate project financial results to upper‑level management.
• Build trust and credibility with operations teams to improve cohesion and communication.
• Oversee financial reporting and understand its upstream impact on the organization.
• Coordinate responsibilities and communication between project and home‑office departments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and champion positive change.
• Utilize data, reports, and tools for risk analysis and benchmarking.
• Review project cash flows, estimates, and contract financials.
