Project Coordinator - Electrical ICI

About the role

The Project Coordinator will work on‑site reporting directly to the Project Manager, supporting the Electrical ICI team. The role involves planning, organizing, monitoring progress, and ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure project objectives, policies, and performance standards align with company and contract specifications.
• Prepare and monitor construction schedules, milestones, and progress against timelines.
• Perform quantity take‑offs from construction drawings, track as‑built quantities, and verify on site.
• Support contract preparation, negotiation of revisions, and management of changes with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Analyze budgets, estimate cost impacts of project changes, and assist with margin projections.
• Develop and implement quality‑control programs, maintain customer and vendor relationships, and produce progress reports.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 1‑5 years of project coordination experience in ICI construction, including data centres, automotive, or industrial projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage documentation, procurement, and trade coordination on‑site.

Required skills

• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Experience using Procore or equivalent project‑management software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of contract management, construction scheduling, and take‑offs/estimating.
• Understanding of project electrical, mechanical, and structural design interpretation.
