About the role
The Pathways to HOPE project seeks a detail‑oriented and proactive Program Coordinator to lead a mixed‑methods needs assessment focused on newcomer women living with HIV in Toronto. You will supervise data collection, train peer researchers, and translate findings into actionable community recommendations.
Key responsibilities
- Design and oversee surveys, interviews, and focus groups with newcomer women and service providers across Toronto.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a cohort of peer researchers in data collection and analysis.
- Facilitate knowledge‑mobilisation workshops with diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborate with peer researchers to develop a community‑informed recommendation framework.
- Report findings to project leadership and external partners.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in mixed‑methods research.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, especially with diverse community groups.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Commitment to improving HIV care access for newcomer women.
Required skills
- Experience conducting surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
- Ability to train and supervise peer researchers.
- Knowledge of community‑based research and knowledge translation.
