Program Coordinator – Clinical Education (Interior)

About the role

The Program Coordinator, Clinical Education (Interior) provides complex coordination and administrative oversight for distributed Internal Medicine clinical education activities across the Interior Health Region. This role supports both Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) and Medical Undergraduate Program (MDUP) delivery in partnership with UBC Faculty of Medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of Internal Medicine clinical education activities at multiple sites.
• Provide administrative support for PGME programs, including Family Practice and Enhanced Skills: CCFP Emergency Medicine.
• Collaborate with the Southern Medical Program and regional health partners to ensure seamless program implementation.
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, and reporting for resident cohorts.
• Report directly to the Site Coordinator and act as a liaison between academic and clinical sites.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
• Experience supporting postgraduate medical education or similar academic programs.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across diverse health and educational sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
