About the role
The South-East Ottawa Community Health Centre is seeking a Program Assistant to provide front‑desk, program and administrative support at its Hunt Club‑Riverside Community Centre. Reporting to the Community Services Coordinator, you will help ensure smooth daily operations and contribute to community‑focused initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the Community Services team.
- Greet clients in person and by phone, directing them to appropriate services.
- Prepare and maintain the Centre’s Calendar of Events.
- Enter program data, compile client information, and generate statistical reports to meet funder deadlines.
- Assist with planning and execution of community events, including venue booking, transportation, and catering.
- Collect and process staff timesheets and universal accounting submissions for approval.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by leadership.
Required profile
- Post‑secondary training or equivalent experience in office administration or a related field.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills, with cultural awareness.
- Ability to work with diverse clients in both French and English.
Required skills
- Comfortable using databases.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
