Professional Services Trainer (Remote)

About the role

Cayenta is looking for a Professional Services Trainer to join its Professional Services team. The role supports customer implementations, software adoption, and user readiness for utility and local‑government clients. It is fully remote, with travel to client sites as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instructor‑led, virtual, and onsite training sessions for customers implementing Cayenta software.
• Facilitate role‑based training programs for end users, administrators, supervisors, and system champions.
• Lead train‑the‑trainer sessions to enable customer resources to sustain knowledge transfer.
• Partner with Project Managers, Consultants, and implementation teams to create training schedules and readiness plans aligned with project timelines.
• Serve as the training lead throughout implementation projects, ensuring customers are prepared for system go‑live.
• Support organizational change and user adoption during upgrades and major process changes.
• Provide refresher training and post‑go‑live support as customers transition to production.
• Coordinate training logistics, attendee management, and communication.
• Collect feedback and training metrics to continuously improve the learning experience.
• Maintain and update training materials, job aids, and documentation.

Required profile

• Passion for helping customers adopt new technology.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel 25‑50% of the time and hold a valid passport.
• Eligibility to travel internationally to the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.
• Curiosity and openness to leveraging AI‑enabled tools to improve workflows.
