Production Worker – Feeder/Folder

About the role

The Feeder/Folder is responsible for handling textiles in an industrial laundry environment. You will continuously grasp, sort, grade, and either fold by hand or feed items into ironers or folding machines for final finishing.

Key responsibilities

• Grasp textiles from carts or bins, sort, inspect, and grade according to quality standards.
• Fold, assemble, and package various types and sizes of textiles manually.
• Load textiles into ironers or folding machines and place finished products onto conveyors or carts.
• Move loaded or empty carts/bins within the production area and follow written packing instructions.
• Maintain efficiency, safety, and a clean work area throughout the shift.
• Assist in other production positions as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to recognize colors, sizes, and accurately count and sort textiles.
• Capability to inspect and grade products against quality criteria.
• Strong comprehension of written packing instructions and supervisory directions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach overhead, lift up to 25 lb, and perform repetitive motions for an entire shift.
