Production Worker – Feeder/Folder

About the role

The Feeder/Folder works on the production floor of an industrial laundry facility, handling textiles from initial sorting through final folding or feeding into finishing machines. The role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and essential to maintaining product flow and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Grasp textiles from carts or bins and sort, inspect, and grade them according to quality standards.
• Fold, assemble, and package various types and sizes of textiles by hand.
• Feed textiles into ironers or folding machines for final finishing.
• Place finished products onto conveyors, carts, or work tables and move loaded or empty carts/bins within the production area.
• Follow written packing instructions and safety/efficiency standards.
• Assist in other production positions as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to recognize colors, sizes, and accurately count and sort textiles.
• Capability to inspect and grade products according to written criteria.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions and supervision.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach overhead, push, pull, grasp, and lift up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
