Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor supports the Production Manager and Assistant Production Manager in overseeing daily operations of the production department within an industrial laundry facility. This hourly, non‑exempt position ensures efficient workflow, quality standards, safety compliance, and staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring work methods and equipment usage to improve labor utilization and production efficiency.
• Help conduct new‑hire and ongoing training across all production areas in partnership with team leads.
• Support execution of company production policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure standards for production, quality, housekeeping, and safety are consistently met.
• Evaluate employee performance, recommend recognition or disciplinary actions, and provide feedback to management.
• Coordinate monthly safety trainings with area team leads.
• Supervise area team leads to guarantee proper task execution as directed by senior managers.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational abilities and leadership potential.
• Accurate numerical skills for counting, adding, and subtracting.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to follow directions, manage time well, and work collaboratively.
