Production Machine Operator (Night Shift)

About the role

Techo-Bloc, a manufacturer of high-end landscaping products in North America, is hiring a Production Machine Operator for its night shift in St-Hubert, Quebec. The schedule is Monday to Thursday, 5:30pm to 5:30am, with weekly pay and full benefits. Training is provided on either the day or night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and adjust production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs
• Complete machine setups and preventative maintenance
• Use tools and measuring equipment to maintain quality
• Complete production and maintenance reports
• Keep the workplace clean, safe and organized
• Communicate issues and priorities with the team

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or automated production
• Strong industrial mechanical aptitude (electrical knowledge is a plus)
• Concrete manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds (23 kg); the job is physically demanding

Required skills

• Basic computer skills (ERP/Microsoft tools a plus)
• Manual dexterity, teamwork and hand-eye coordination
