Production Associate

About the role

Fresh Prep is seeking a Production Associate to join its fast‑growing meal‑kit operation. In this hands‑on role you will work on a temperature‑controlled production line, preparing and packaging a variety of fresh ingredients for customers across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Work in a 6‑8 °C environment to clean, cut, portion, measure, weigh and package vegetables, cheeses, sauces and other ingredients.
• Operate food‑processing equipment and tools to break down fresh produce according to timed standards.
• Maintain food‑safe hygiene practices and keep the production area clean and organized.
• Follow detailed work instructions and meet productivity targets while ensuring product quality.

Required profile

• Reliable and punctual team player who can work independently when needed.
• Comfortable standing for 8‑hour shifts and lifting up to 30 lb (13 kg).
• Willingness to work in a cold environment (0‑10 °C).
• Eager to learn and grow within a rapidly expanding company.

Required skills

• Knife handling and food‑cutting proficiency.
• Experience with food preparation and portioning.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
