Production Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Production Assistant to support our Production team in creating high‑quality, sustainable occasion wear. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about garment construction and enjoy fast‑paced, collaborative environments.

Key responsibilities

• Cut and bundle fabrics for in‑house sample sewing and small‑batch production.
• Perform quality checks on reference and top‑grade samples.
• Assemble factory packages, including creation of Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Print barcodes and coordinate made‑on‑demand local production.
• Organise raw‑material inventory and facilitate delivery of notions, trims, and materials to factories.
• Support day‑to‑day departmental tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of garment construction and ability to read spec and tech‑pack documents.
• Experience cutting lightweight woven fabrics such as chiffon and satin.
• Experience sewing lightweight wovens and knits.
• Familiarity with industrial straight‑stitch and serger machines.
• Attention to detail, proactive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.

What we offer

• Salary range $51,000–$55,000 CAD per year, based on experience.
