Product Release Specialist

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Product, the Product Release Specialist ensures the Ara Home Energy Station delivers a clear, confident first‑use experience for residential customers. The role is hands‑on, observation‑driven and influences product release decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Use the consumer product in realistic home scenarios to assess everyday use.
• Step into defined customer personas to observe clarity, confidence and first‑use experience.
• Identify readiness strengths and gaps, and surface findings for product teams.
• Re‑check experiences as features evolve to confirm meaningful improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years in product assessment, experience evaluation or customer use‑case validation.
• Proven ability to evaluate first impressions, clarity and trust when customers encounter complex products.
• Comfortable identifying gaps, uncertainties or friction through hands‑on observation.
• Curious about real‑world product use and attentive to subtle experience signals.
