About the role
We are seeking a dedicated child caregiver to work in a private home in Calgary. The role involves caring for children and managing household responsibilities in the parents' absence.
Key responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are away.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Discipline children according to parents' methods.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Organize activities such as games and outings.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
- Supervise and care for children, including transportation to school and appointments.
- Tend to the emotional well‑being of children and help with homework.
Required profile
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in child care.
- CPR and First Aid certificates.
- Clean criminal record check.
- References required.
- Availability to start on the posted date.
