About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Child Caregiver to join a family in Calgary and provide attentive, nurturing care for their children in a private home setting. The role includes supporting daily routines, ensuring safety, and contributing to a warm household environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to child care.
• Travel with the family on trips, assisting with supervision and housekeeping.
• Discipline children according to parents' guidelines and promote personal hygiene and social development.
• Organize games, outings, and educational activities.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and help with homework.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain a safe, healthy home environment and attend to children’s emotional well‑being.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Flexible availability (morning, evening, day shifts).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, reliability, patience, and honesty.
