About the role

This position provides attentive, nurturing care for children in a private West Vancouver home. The caregiver will ensure a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment while supporting the family’s daily routine.

Key responsibilities

Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are absent.
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
Organise games, outings, and educational activities.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Supervise children, including school drop‑offs, pickups, and appointments.
Support the emotional well‑being of the children.

Required profile

Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
1‑2 years of child‑care experience.
Organised, reliable, and able to maintain a safe environment.
Clear criminal record check.
