About the role
We are seeking a caring individual to provide child care in a private home in North Vancouver. The role involves supervising school‑age children (6‑12) and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Organize games and outings for children.
- Maintain daily activity and health records.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Transport children to school and appointments.
- Supervise personal hygiene and social development.
- Discipline children according to parents' methods.
- Ensure a safe and healthy home environment.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal record check and provide references.
- Reliable, patient, honest, and client‑focused.
- Good interpersonal, time‑management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility, initiative and good judgement.
