Private Home Child Care Provider

About the role

This full‑time position is based in the employer’s home in Vancouver. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day care and supervision of children while maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing household environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household duties in the parents’ absence, including light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and manage children’s personal hygiene and social development.
• Discipline children according to parents’ methods and keep detailed records of daily activities and health information.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities, and accompany the family on trips as needed.
• Provide emotional support, supervise rest periods, and ensure a safe environment at all times.
