Privacy Annotation Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Privacy Annotation Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis. The role involves reviewing and labeling sensitive legal documents to ensure compliance with privacy and data governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and annotate legal documents to identify Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and confidential content.
• Apply contract review and eDiscovery expertise to produce accurate data labeling.
• Validate OCR outputs and maintain data integrity throughout investigation workflows.
• Collaborate with compliance and legal‑technology teams to uphold information‑governance policies.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks and audits on document batches to meet regulatory requirements.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong experience in contract review, quality assurance, eDiscovery, and compliance processes.
• Deep understanding of PII and data‑privacy regulations.
• Background as a Paralegal, eDiscovery Specialist, Privacy Analyst, Information Governance Specialist, Compliance Manager, or Legal Document Review Lead.
• Proven track record handling sensitive data in high‑stakes environments.
