About the role
Prep Academy Tutors is seeking an in‑person primary/junior level tutor to work the full 2026/2027 academic year (September to June). You will deliver one‑on‑one tutoring sessions in students' homes or at local public libraries, following the Ontario curriculum.
Key responsibilities
- Provide academic support aligned with the Ontario curriculum.
- Create and assign supplemental work to deepen understanding.
- Offer remedial and enrichment assistance as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress.
Required profile
- Energetic, enthusiastic teachers with classroom experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario curriculum; OCT certification preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and a vehicle for in‑person tutoring.
- Availability to commit to the full academic year and work in Aurora, Richmond Hill, King City, Markham, or Newmarket.
