Primary Care Physician – CFB Trenton

About the role

Calian is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join its clinical team at Canadian Forces Base Trenton. The role involves delivering comprehensive primary health services to Canadian Armed Forces members, supporting occupational health, and contributing to overall readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care for acute and chronic conditions, including referrals when needed.
• Deliver occupational health services such as hearing conservation and respiratory protection programs.
• Communicate clinical matters to the Senior Medical Authority, including complex cases and operational readiness issues.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the Electronic Health Record system.

Required profile

• Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
• Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) from the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
• Basic Life Support for Health Providers or CPR/AED Level C certification.
• Ability to obtain a Government Reliability Security Clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
