About the role
As the Postmaster for the Little Dover community, you will be the primary face of Canada Post, leading the local post office and ensuring reliable postal services for residents and businesses.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with the community to promote and sell Canada Post products and services.
- Administer daily post‑office operations to meet retail hours and delivery expectations.
- Manage postal revenue, assets, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Supervise, train, and assess staff performance.
- Assist in the effective management of mail delivery routes.
Required profile
- High school diploma or provincial equivalent, or relevant business administration experience.
- Proven experience leading and directing teams.
- Experience in a retail or service environment involving public interaction, sales, and cash handling.
- Knowledge of mail processing regulations, methods, and procedures.
- Physical ability to lift mail containers up to 50 lb, push/pull boxes, sort mail and stand for extended periods.

- Full‑time permanent position with a starting wage of $24.10 per hour.
