Postal Clerk – Temporary On‑Call

About the role
Join Canada Post’s dynamic mail operations as a Postal Clerk on a temporary, on‑call basis. You will work a variety of shifts—including days, evenings, overnights and weekends—providing essential support to the mail processing network in Timmins, Ontario.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and accept incoming mail items
- Sort, scan, sequence and batch mail for distribution
- Load and transfer mail to postal trucks
- Dispatch parcels and packets to the appropriate routes
- Complete required reports and documentation
- Lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb)
- Perform additional postal clerk duties as needed
Required profile
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, overnights and weekends
- Physical ability to lift items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb)
- Basic literacy for handling reports and documentation
