About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Post Office Clerk to join our locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store in Toronto. You will be the first point of contact for customers using our retail postal services, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service at the postal outlet.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and greet every customer with a warm demeanor.
• Accurately scan items, process transactions, and handle cash, coupons, lottery tickets, and PC Optimum rewards.
• Manage receipt documentation, returns, and merchandising of designated areas.
• Follow loss‑prevention standards and control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.
• Adhere to uniform, health‑and‑safety, and store policy guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong planning, judgement, and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to balance teamwork with efficient order processing.
• Organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of maintaining neat workspaces.
• Experience with computer and register operations.
